UPDATE – Victim In Monroe County Crash Identified

ABERDEEN (WCBI) – The Alabama man killed in a Saturday night crash in Monroe County has been identified .

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley says 65 year old Hobert Dwight Childers of Hamilton, Alabama died in the one car accident.  The wreck happened just before 10 Saturday evening at the intersection of Highways 8 East and 278 East in Greenwood Springs.  The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
