Victim not cooperating in Starkville shooting investigation

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Sunday night shooting is being investigated in Starkville, and the victim won’t cooperate with police.

Just after 10 p.m police were called to Northside Drive.

Officers found a man who had been shot in the leg. He was transported to OCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators did not believe this was a random incident.

The victim refused to help police track down the shooter.

The incident remains under investigation.
