Video: A Lesson in Theatre for Tupelo Students and Teachers

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Students and teachers at Thomas Street Elementary in Tupelo learned how to use the theatre in the classroom.

Actors from Jackson based new stage theatre performed “The Emperor’s New clothes” this afternoon.

The production company chose Thomas Street school because the school integrates the arts into it’s curriculum.

After school was out, new stage theatre members held a workshop for teachers on how to better use theater in the classroom.
