VIDEO: Automobile Museum Classic Truck Give Away

TUPELO, Miss.(WCBI) – One lucky winner received a classic truck today at the automobile museum.

A raffle ticket was drawn today at noon for one lucky person to go home with a restored 1959 Chevrolet Apache (pache) classic truck.

This is a fundraiser that Tupelo Automobile Museum came up with over the years.

Wallace Flurrey of Nettleton was the winning raffle ticket drawn.

Flurrey was not in attendance to receive the winning ticket, but has been notified the his number was the winning ticket.

Executive director Jane Spain says the the truck representing the quality of the museum.

“For us to be able to offer this truck as a raffle prize, it was very important to us that it represented the quality of the museum, and it certainly did, so everybody is a winner including us,”said Spain.

Spain also says that this was the 2nd raffle ticket drawn to giveaway a classic vehicle and another raffle ticket will hopefully be given away two years from now when the perfect classic vehicle comes along.
