VIDEO: The Fate of Starkville City Hall’s Leftover Space
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – With the Starkville Police Department moved into its new facility, a lot of empty space is left on the second floor of Starkville City Hall.
Multiple offices and cubicles are left vacant.
There is no set goal for the empty space, but city leaders confirm it will be used for expansion.
“Well, this could be some incubator space, because I know there are some opportunities for incubator businesses, so that’s something we would be willing to look at, as well. But cities goes on for hundreds of years, so I anticipate that before all is said and done this will still come back to be city offices,” said Starkville Mayor, Lynn Spruill.
Until a decision is made, the space will be used for storage.
