Video: Gametime Cheerleading Ready to Compete in Florida

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two local cheer-leading teams are ready to hit the big stage.

The Gametime Athletics cheer teams qualified for the Summit All-Star Cheer-leading Championships down in Orlando, Florida this weekend.

It’s an elite, three-day competition event that will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The event consists of the top ten percent of teams from around the country given automatic bids with an additional 160 teams earning a spot by competing and winning bids.

The two cheer teams won their bids back in December.
