Video: Houston’s Luke Hancock Signs with Mississippi State Baseball

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) — It’s been a long time coming, but it was three years well worth it.

Houston senior catcher Luke Hancock made it official on Wednesday as he signed his letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Mississippi State following graduation.

Hancock has been verbally committed to the Diamond Dawgs since his freshman season with the Hilltoppers.

The senior star is a career .427 hitter at Houston as he’s started and played four years behind the plate for head coach Scott Gann.

Hancock is currently projected as at Top 200 prospect for the 2018 MLB Draft but is eager to continue his baseball career in Starkville following his time at Houston high School.
