Video: Luke Takes Over, Says Players Are Locked In

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Ole Miss interim head coach Matt Luke took center stage, Monday, in his introductory press conference as head coach.

While under the cloud of the NCAA investigation and the recent resignation from Hugh Freeze, attention has turned to the players with the wondering if the football program will see any transfers.

Athletic director Ross Bjork said in a press conference last week that the program will listen and support any decisions made, but Luke said Monday that the players are “just want to play football.”

“They sacrifice so much,” Luke said of his players.

“They just want to go out and represent Ole Miss and win football games.”
