Video: New Albany Rolls, Lady Chargers Win Barn Burner To Advance

WATCH: High school volleyball playoffs are officially in full swing.

In Class I, the Choctaw County Lady Chargers win a down-to-the-wire battle against Hickory Flats in five sets (25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 24-26, 16-14.) Choctaw County hosts St. Andrew’s in round two.

Class II sees the dominant New Albany Lady Bulldogs advance in convincing fashion, defeating Caledonia in straight sets (25-14, 25-9, 25-14.) New Albany hosts Lewisburg in round two.

The Lafayette Lady Commodores won a thriller over Corinth to advance, winning in five sets (25-23, 18-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-13.) Lafayette travels to Lake Cormorant for round two.

In Class III, the Tupelo Lady Golden Wave rally from a first set loss to win three straight, defeating Madison Central (20-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-15.) Tupelo hosts Clinton in round two.

Oxford also advances to round two, defeating Northwest Rankin in a sweep (25-15, 25-19, 25-19.) The Lady Chargers travel to Desoto Central for the next round.
