Video: No-Call Registry a Hit with Cellphone Customers

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) -A new service from the Public Service Commission is proving to be a hit with state consumers.

In less than one month over 62,000 people have registered their cellphones on Mississippi’s No-Call Registry.

Before July1st only landlines could be registered. Northern District Commissioner Brandon Presley pushed to allow cellphone customers to opt out of getting the unsolicited calls.

To register for the service customers can call 1 (800) 356-6430 or go to the Public Service Commission’s website
