Video: Rebels Trying To Stay Positive Despite NCAA Investigation

HOOVER, Ala. (WCBI) — The Ole Miss Rebels were in the spotlight at its SEC Media Day, Thursday.

Head coach Hugh Freeze, sophomore quarterback Shea Patterson, junior defensive tackle Breeland Speaks, and junior offensive lineman Javon Patterson made the trip to Hoover to represent the football program.

Freeze and company fielded questions from the media about the ongoing NCAA investigation and allegations, but the Rebels are trying to stay positive throughout the controversial offseason.

Ole Miss self-imposed a one-year postseason ban, as well as a double-digit reduction in football scholarships in response to the NCAA’S Notice Of Allegations.
