Video: Seized Guns For Sale

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department is selling hundreds of seized guns this weekend.

The guns were seized from drug dealers and other criminals.

The sale will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, at the Lee County Agri Center in Verona, Mississippi.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says the sale is open to the public.

“There’s some weapons in there that we want to put in the right hands, handguns, riffles, deer rifles, shotguns, and a lot of things that people could use, and we want to put these guns in the hands of good people.”

The money from the sale will help the department fight drug activity in the county.
