VIDEO: Showcasing Its New Healthcare Facility

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Healthcare leaders in Calhoun County take pride in providing quality healthcare to  its patients.

On Thursday, Baptist-Calhoun Hospital held an open house showcasing the new healthcare facility.

The new administrative building boasts an outpatient rehab therapy, an ambulance garage, and a housing and work area for its emergency management team.

The building has been in the works for the past two years now, and hospital leaders says it offers patients top notch care closer to home.

“Folks typically come to the hospital not because they want to, but because they have to and so it’s up to us to make their experience as best as we possibly can,” said Collin Cheek, assistant administrator at the hospital. “This is great for a lot of folks in the county so they don’t have to travel to Oxford or don’t have to travel to Tupelo, they can get some great therapy right here in their backyard.”

The facility is already seeing patients.
