BELDEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Thursday was a special day for a football star in northeast Mississippi.

TCPS senior Caleb Kitchens made it official Thursday afternoon as he signed his letter of intent to play football for the Millsaps Majors following graduation.

Kitchens went off during his senior season with the Eagles, passing for nearly 1,800 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also added 235 yards rushing and two more scores on the ground.

Caleb was the starting quarterback of the 2015 TCPS Eagles who made history winning eight games last year. He says he wants to be an attorney after his time in school and the pre-law program at Millsaps was an important aspect of his decision.
