Video: Three Amory Panthers Signs To Play College Ball

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — A big day for Amory Panthers athletic program as three Panther student athlete are heading to the next level in their sports careers.

Soccer studs Matthew Martin and Ethan Gardner will be a part of the first men’s soccer team at MUW with their signing, Wednesday.

“I’ve always held history in very high regard, and I’m excited to be a part of the inaugural class for the soccer team and make that history and make that statement that people will remember”, the newest Owl Martin said about his decision.

Amory basketball’s Vicky Hale will continue her basketball career up in Booneville with her signing to Northeast.

Hale said Northeast was her top choice because the coaching staff would “[come] to practice, and my game and pushing me to do better.”
