Video: Tupelo Police Officers Honored on Capitol Hill

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Some Tupelo police officers are being honored on Capitol Hill, Wednesday.

Rep. Trent Kelly (R-Dist. 1) recognized Maj. Anthony Hill, and Lt. Michael Russell for their involvement with the Tupelo Police Athletic League.

During this year’s National Police Athletic League conference, Maj. Hill was named the National Male Volunteer of the Year.

Lt. Russell was also appointed to the Athletic League’s National Executive Board.

Kelly also thanked both men for making Tupelo a better place.
