Video: United Way Holds Annual Meeting Lunch

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The United Way of Lowndes County took the time to say ‘thank you’ to it’s volunteers on Wednesday.

The Lowndes County group held it’s annual meeting luncheon.

A number of volunteers were honored for their time and dedication to the United Way 2015 campaign.

During the meeting, the past year’s activities were reviewed and planning began for this years activities also.

United Way leaders say they just want to thank those who have helped them fund-raise.
“To kind of do a cheer for everyone that’s participated, for the United Way for the successful year we’ve had and to really acknowledge those who have volunteered given their time, efforts,” said Patricia Brock, the Executive Director for United Way in Lowndes County.
