Video: Vigil Held In Calhoun County Remembering Jim Spruiell

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Hundreds across North Mississippi are leaning on each other for support after Chief Flight Nurse, Jim Spruiell was killed over the weekend.

Spuriell was killed after a medical helicopter he was in crashed in Arkansas Sunday.

Friends and staff at Baptist Memorial in Calhoun County gathered for a candle light vigil Wednesday evening.

Friends say Spruiell worked at the hospital in Calhoun County for over a decade.

Spruiell was the chief flight nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center.

Those at Wednesday’s vigil say Jim Loved North Mississippi and North Mississippi loved him.
