Warrant and traffic stop leads to three arrests in Weir
ACKERMAN, Miss. (WCBI) – Three people have been arrested in Weir after a search warrant and a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs.
Choctaw County Sheriff Brandon Busby said deputies were at the home of Janalivn Mosley of Weir on Thursday serving a warrant for molestation, touching a child for lustful purposes.
He says that while at home, they found a large amount of methamphetamine and a stolen pistol.
Mosley was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a stolen firearm.
While deputies were in the area, they stopped a vehicle close to Mosley’s home.
During the stop, they found illegal substances in the vehicle, and Andrea Meadow of Weir and Shawna Murphy
Meadow and Murphy were both charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
All three remain in the Choctaw County Jail.
