Video: WCBI Hosts Blood Drive

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Golden Triangle residents flowed in to give the gift of life, Wednesday.

WCBI teamed up with United Blood Services to host a drive in downtown Columbus with the goal of putting a dent in a local blood shortage.

Summer is a busy season for blood services, with an increase in need and often a decrease in donors.

The organization has issued an emergency appeal for all blood types.
