Weather impacting Super Bulldog Weekend

STARKVILLE – With increased thunderstorm percentages in the late afternoon forecast on Saturday, Super Bulldog Weekend on the Mississippi State campus will feature a 1 p.m. Saturday start for both the Maroon and White spring football game and Game 2 of the Diamond Dawgs’ Southeastern Conference baseball series against Alabama.

The annual Maroon and White spring football game remains a 1 p.m. start with a live broadcast on ESPNU. Admission is free. Gates to Davis Wade Stadium open at 11:30 a.m. Metal detector and clear bag policies will be in place. The MSU Sports Network will carry it locally in Starkville on 96.1 FM, on HailState.com/plus and via the Tune In app.

The MSU-Alabama baseball series features start times at 6 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Friday and Saturday’s contests are on SEC Network+ with Sunday being a live broadcast on SEC Network. Saturday’s game will be on the full MSU Sports Network and radio affiliates as well as HailState.com/plus and the Tune In app.

Soccer’s exhibition against Southern Miss, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to 1 p.m. Sunday at the MSU Soccer Field. Volleyball’s spring exhibition against Mississippi University for Women remains 11 a.m. Saturday in Newell-Grissom. An MSU alumni match will immediately follow.

Sunday’s women’s tennis match against LSU is still slated for 1 p.m.
