What Will Harvey Do?

TONIGHT: The clouds from Harvey will remain, which will keep our temperatures in the low 70s. With Harvey in Texas, we will begin to see more moisture in our area, which means there will be more humidity.
SUNDAY: Some scattered rain showers are possible as moisture from Harvey gets pulled in from the Gulf coast, but widespread rain isn’t expected. With mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s.

NEXT WEEK: Our forecast is up in the air for the next week and it all depends on Harvey. Right now it looks like Harvey and it’s remnants will remain stalled out over Texas through the middle of the week. If that ends up being the case, then we will likely stay mostly dry through the middle of the week. Any rain chances would be the normal afternoon shower or storm and temperatures remain in the mid and upper 80s. Beyond that, there is a lot of variability in the different models. Some suggest that the remnants of Harvey will remain over Texas and will eventually rain itself out. In that case, we likely stay dry to end the week. Otherwise, Harvey could get swept up by a system in the Great Lakes, which would increase rain chances into next weekend. At this point the forecast is in Harvey’s hands.  We’ll keep you updated with the latest forecast.
