Woman faces felony charges in Oxford for reportedly creating an unsafe environment for her children

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – On Thursday, July 30, Lafayette County investigators received information from Child Protective Services about allegations that 23-year-old Neely Taylor might be exposing her children to harmful drugs.

Investigators report that on Tuesday they received drug test results indicating that Taylor had tested positive for illegal narcotics and that two of her children also tested positive.

Taylor was arrested and charged with two counts of Child Endangerment.

Her bond was set at $20,000. She also has a hold placed on her by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
