Woman pleads guilty to killing her father-in-law

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A West Point woman accused of killing her father-in-law pleaded guilty to murder.

Latoria Brownlee entered the plea Tuesday morning in Clay County Circuit Court.

A 2017 Thanksgiving Day fire killed William Brownlee Sr.

Latoria was arrested several weeks later and initially charged with capital murder.

Tuesday, she was sentenced to life in prison.
