COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus is one of the leading cities in the state in sales tax growth.

New numbers show Columbus ranks second, just behind Jackson for March 2016 collections,at $1.1 million.

The figures are compared to March 2015 numbers.

Total it’s a three hundred $78,000.00 upswing.

Tupelo, Saltillo and Oxford ranked in the top ten during the same time frame.
