CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) — With her board ousted, Kristy White is quitting as director of the Corinth Convention and Visitors Bureau after two years on the job.

White submitted her resignation Thursday, a day after Corinth Aldermen and Alcorn County supervisors removed all seven members of the CVB Board in a dispute over how the board is spending its budget.

White says the no-confidence vote reflects on her job performance.

Her resignation includes a two-week notice but there’s no official board to accept it at this point. Corinth aldermen will meet this afternoon to start naming new tourism board members.
