TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Diane Page spent 9 years working as the Educational Coordinator for the Lee County Juvenile Facility.

The work was rewarding, but when she retired, she followed her true passion.

Now, Diane writes children’s books.

She has published her first 2 stories.

They are called “Bobbs and the Little Boy”, and “Roy and Roo Take a Trip to the Zoo”.

Tuesday, Diane presented Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson’s young son with a book and a stuffed “Bobbs”.

She also donated several books and stuffed animals to to the Sheriff’s Department.

Those books will be given to children who deputies encounter on abuse calls.
