A Columbus Man Is Accused Of Robbing A Railroad Employee

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man is accused of robbing a railroad employee and forcing him to drive to an ATM.

Tyree Sparks, 22, is charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.

The hold-up happened November 4th on 11th Street.

Investigators say the C&G employee was forced by gunpoint to drive to the bank.

Sparks’ bond was set at $150,000.
