Accused New Hope High Burglar Arrested

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is accused of stealing cleaning supplies from a Lowndes County school and selling them on the street.

Demetrus Pratt, 40, is charged with burglary.

Investigators say he broke into New Hope High School several times over the last two months.

Cleaning supplies and other items were taken.

Pratt was identified on surveillance video.

He is also charged with uttering forgery in an unrelated case.
