Alabama Man Killed in Alcorn Co. Wreck

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi state troopers are looking into whether drugs or alcohol played a role in an Alcorn County wreck that killed an Alabama man.

It happened on MS 2 near County Road 504 at around 1:30 p.m., Friday.

Troopers say a Corinth woman was driving west bound, when she crossed the center line and collided into a 2005 Dodge.

The driver – Juan DeJaun, of Decatur, AL – was killed.

One of his passengers was airlifted to a Memphis hospital with serious injuries.

The other passenger, and the driver of the other car had moderate injuries.

Troopers say they’re still investigating.
