Video: Booneville Woman Busted With Drugs At Safety Checkpoint

PRENTISS CO., Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – A Booneville woman sits in jail after being busted with narcotics by Prentiss County deputies.

Deputies Wesley Graves, Dewayne Mink, Aaron Stolz, Doug C_Userssmithid5DocumentsDocumentsLinda MorganRakestraw, and North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith were conducting a safety checkpoint on CR 7100 November 4th of 2015.

Linda Morgan was arrested after going through that checkpoint when it was discovered that she had a warrant out for her arrest from Booneville.

Morgan was found to be in possession of 60 Somas and 17 Hydrocodone.

She was arrested on that warrant along with several other misdemeanor charges.

Agent Smith presented Morgan’s case to the Prentiss County Grand Jury where she was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Linda was arrested on April 12, 2016 on the 2 counts and had a $10,000 Circuit Bond that was placed on her by the District Attorney’s office.

She had $1,069 dollars in cash on her that was seized.
