Video: Columbus Standoff Ends Peacefully

COLUMBUS, Miss. (Press Release) – On the afternoon of August 13, 2015 at 1:46pm Columbus Police Officers were dispatch to a house on

Plymouth road in regards to a disturbance.  The caller told dispatchers that her husband was intoxicated

and walking around with gun.  The wife left her home, went to neighbors and called police.

Officers learned that   the husband had taken some drugs and drank alcohol.

Columbus police SWAT team made contact with the husband on back porch of home and took him into custody without incident.

Mr. Micheal Taylor was taken into custody and will be charged with Domestic Violence.
