Video: Columbus Students “Read, Right, Run”

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – “Read, Right, Run.” Students in the Columbus Municipal School District are are finishing up a campaign that promotes literacy and good health and deeds.

Since January, Pre-K through 12th grade students have read 26 books and completed 26 good deeds. Friday, they completed the final leg of their 26-mile run at high school track.

McKellar Technology Center helped make the signs and decorations for the event. Med Tech students assisted the nurses who monitored runners.

Each student who completed the tasks received an award.
