Corinth Man Charged in Stabbing Incident

CORINTH, Miss (WCBI) – A Corinth man is charged with aggravated assault after a stabbing incident Tuesday night.

Jeromy Jerome Walker, 28, was in custody as of Wednesday afternoon, after stabbing Michael Decker. Corinth Police found Decker stabbed in the upper left side of the abdomen in the Wilson Street Apartments. Officers later pulled the suspect over in a Ford Expedition near South Parkway and Prosper Street. Walker had blood stained clothing and was taken into custody  immediately.

Walker’s bond has been set at $10,000.

As of Wednesday Decker was in critical condition at the Magnolia Regional Health Center.
