Eiland Middle School’s New Gym is Ready for Play

LOUISVILLE, Miss.-(WCBI) Louisville’s Eiland Middle School now has a gem of a gym.

School and city leaders today dedicated the renovated recreation area of the school. New flooring, fresh paint and new central heat and air are just a few of the highlights of the project. School officials say having a place for exercise is just as key to a good education as any other component.

“On behalf of this community, I think that the citizens of this community is going to be very proud and very pleased with the new building that we’ve renovated here in our middle school,” says Cathy Edwards with the Board of Trustees.

The project costs around $400,000 to complete.
