FedEx Truck Flips

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A FedEx truck crashes into a ditch Tuesday morning sending both of its occupants to the hospital.

Authorities on the scene say, the FedEx truck was traveling north bound on Highway 45 in Columbus when the driver hit his brakes and lost control of the truck just past Spivey road. Witnesses say, the truck hit a deep culvert and flipped crushing the cab and ejecting the driver and passenger. The two men were longtime partners and both were sent Baptist Golden Triangle for severe injuries.

Mississippi Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
