CORINTH, Miss. (AP) — The city of Corinth is doubling the fees it charges for use of the Johnson Street Community Center.
A local newspaper reports the increases were recommended by an advisory committee that oversees the city-owned center.
The action by the Board of Aldermen raises the fee to $50 for up to four hours of use, an increase from the current fee of $25. For up to eight hours of use, the fee rises from $45 to $100.
A fee of $50 will be applied for use of the center’s new kitchen facilities.
The center is made available free for some activities, such as senior citizen and scout group meetings.
