Former Starkville Academy, Current Ridgeland Coach Arrested For Enticement Of A Child

STARKVILLE, Miss. (Press Release) – Starkville Police Department arrested 30 year old, Jody Wayne Britt from Madison, MS charging him with 2 Counts of Enticement of a Child. Britt was a former baseball coach at Starkville Academy and is currently a coach at Ridgeland High School. Britt’s arrest transpired after incidents occurring last week were reported to the Police Department. Warrants were obtained and Jody Wayne Britt turned himself in accompanied by his attorney. His bond was set at $35,000 per count for a total of $70,000. Britt was processed and soon after posted bond.
