Video: Guilty Plea In Columbus Bomb Threat

GREENVILLE, MS (WCBI) – A guilty plea Thursday from the man who called in a bomb threat aimed at  Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle.    Michael Sparks admitted in federal court he called the switchboard at the hospital and claimed a bomb was set to go off in 15 minutes.  Columbus Police were able to trace the call to the Greenwood Leflore County restitution center where Sparks was an inmate.   He admitted at the time it was a foolish prank.  Sparks remains in federal custody until his sentencing later this year.
