Guilty Plea In FEMA Fraud

ABERDEEN MS (WCBI) – A Louisville woman pleads guilty today to disaster  fraud.   34 year old Kourtnee Triplett was indicted late last year of filing a false claim with FEMA saying her apartment was destroyed in the Louisville tornado.  Today Triplett admitted she did not live in the Beal Avenue apartment like she claimed.  No sentencing date has been set.  She could be sent to prison for 30 years and fined a quarter million dollars plus restitution.
