Heritage Academy Celebrates Earth Day with Clean Up

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Heritage Academy Elementary School looks a little brighter.

Students helped clean up the campus as part of Earth Day lessons.

Students washed windows, picked up trash, pulled weeds and planted flowers around the school.

They say they had a great time learning about the environment while making their school a nicer play to learn.

Earth Day was Wednesday, but the kids clean up was pushed back because of the rain.
