Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Nabs Large Drug Ring

(OXFORD,MS) – WCBI  An undercover operation by the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics unit has dismantled a large Xanax ring operating on the Ole Miss Campus as well as in Oxford and Lafayette County.

Agents seized over 11 hundred Xanax tablets, marijuana, synthetic marijuana along with a 3744 dollars cash.  Electronics like I phones, a mac  book and  an SUV.

Charged are current Ole Miss  students Collin Bishop of Nashville, Tennessee, Madison White of Clinton and Shelbie Yates of Clinton.   Former student Jeffrey factor of Nashville is the fourth person arrested.  All are charged with possession with intent to distribute Xanax
