Video: Lehmberg Road Paving Contract Awarded

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A paving contract is awarded for a busy East Columbus connector road.

APAC could begin work early next month on 1.6 miles of South Lehmberg Road between Highway 182 and Yorkville Road. Work is expected to take less than a month.

County supervisors awarded the contract today. Crews are installing new drainage culverts in preparation for the paving.

Drivers could face delays starting Wednesday and are urged to find other routes.

State aid road money is covering the $865,544.30 contract..
