COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -When one thinks about international student placement Louisville may not be the first place that comes to mind. Chris Herring would like to change that. He is the founder of American Education Advantage, an organization that places students in select private schools in the U.S.

Herring was featured speaker at today’s meeting of the Columbus Rotary Club. While AEA works with some international students, some of their clients are a little closer to home.

“We are looking for a host family for these students to go to Heritage Academy. I have a young man that is currently living in Starkville, but would prefer to live in Columbus to be closer to school, so if there is anyone with a suggestion for host families, I am always looking for a good host family.”

Currently AEA is working to place students in private schools in Mississippi and Oregon.
