Video: Man Saves Grandmother From Fire

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A man is being called a hero for rescuing and elderly Columbus woman after some kind of explosion sets her house on fire.
Neighbors say they heard an explosion at this home on 15th Avenue South at about 7:30 Thursday morning. Her grandson, Raymond Greeson, was there and broke out windows to get Dorothy Richardson Hubbard, who is in her 80s, out before smoke and flames consumed the inside of the home.
She suffered smoke inhalation while he suffered cuts to his arms. Both were treated at Baptist Golden Triangle. A firefighter also was treated for a severe cut to his hand.
Firefighters still are investigating the cause of the fire.
