MCC to Celebrate Release of New Film RIO 2

COLUMBUS, Miss. (Press Release) — Take flight with the Malco Columbus Commons as they celebrate the release of Twentieth Century Fox’s new film RIO 2.

The theater, located at 2320 Hwy 45 N, Columbus, will host a family-friendly event Saturday, April 12th from 1 – 5 p.m. Bring the kids to explore the lobby “jungle,” play some games and participate in tropical-themed arts and crafts! Moviegoers will also have a chance to win prizes from local retailers and restaurants!

The theater will be accepting donations for The Columbus Humane Society during the event. The organization’s donation wish list includes dog and cat food, sheets, blankets, bleach, antibacterial hand soap, hand sanitizer, dishwashing liquid, and trash bags. There will be a representative from the Humane Society on site to answer any and all questions regarding animal adoption and care.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the box office and www.malco.com.
