Moss Point Raises Money For Louisville Tornado Victims

Louisville, Mississippi (WCBI) – The city of Moss Point raised money to help Louisville tornado victims, including law enforcement.

Moss Point police raised $13,000 in donations.

Moss Point Mayor Billy Bloomfield presented $1,000 Lowe’s gift cards on Wednesday afternoon to ten households that were selected by case workers.

Law enforcement officers Vernon Eichelberger and Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh were given $1,500 gift cards. Both men lost their homes in the EF-4 twister.

Louisville Mayor Will Hill says the generous gifts are another example of Mississippians paying it forward and helping one another.
