Video: MS Senate Okays Appointed Superintendent Bill

JACKSON, MS (WCBI) –  The legislative effort to make all Mississippi school superintendents appointed is halfway to becoming law.   The State Senate Thursday morning passed the bill making the change . 55 districts in the state would be impacted by the move.  The bill does allow the school boards to appoint the current elected superintendent to the job if they want.  The bill now moves to the  House where it has been voted down in years past after clearing the Senate
