TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is educating the public on the disease and hoping to cure it once and for all.
It’s a day for patients living with MS and their caregivers to come together to better understand the disease and how to manage it.
The National MS society hosted the Symposium in Tupelo that featured different sessions for patients and those in the medical field.
Organizers say it’s important for the society to continually help those living with MS in any way possible.
“The MS Society provides incredible amount of opportunities to help them find information, find research, and help in dealing with maybe financial assistance. We’re just here to help and give us a call,” said Dr. Ron Mumbower, with the National MS Society.
The society will host the MS walk at Veterans Park in Tupelo on May 2nd to raise money for the research of MS.
