Nettleton Woman Killed In Itawamba County Accident

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Nettleton teen is killed in an Itawamba County crash.

Erica Delashmit’s car flipped several times after she lost control on Cotton Gin Road, near Tremont, on Wednesday night.

Deputy Coroner Shelia Summerford says the car stopped when it hit a tree.

The 18 year-old and her dog died at the scene.

She was wearing a seatbelt.
